Help answer this question below.

Some people suggested that marriage should have a term limit, like 5 year term or 10 year term instead of forever till death. What do you think of the idea?

    I think there'd have to be lots of rules with it - no children for instance, unless the marriage is renewed as a lifetime contract, and a lifetime contract is automatic if a child is born.

    • Isn't that the same as divorce? My biggest problem with the kids issue is that (imo) such arrangements could actually be easier on the kids than standard divorce. I guess I've just seen too many people use their kids as pawns or drag them through the legal system. Unfortunately, it's usually not because it's in the child's best interest, but because they want to "get back" at their spouse.
