An Australian passenger on the cruise ship Sea Diamond has described the tense wait to be rescued from the stricken vessel, after it ran aground on the rocks of Santorini Island in the Aegean. Have you ever been on a ship/boat that got in trouble?

    Yes, a few years back I was on a ferry from Barcelona to Menorca. The crossing was meant to take 8 hours but we were stranded at sea by a storm and it took 36 hours instead, which was exciting and frustrating.
