Help answer this question below.

What do you guys think which is better malwarebytes anti-malware or Trojan Remover? I have heard great stuff of both of them but just wanted to hear what you guys think.

    Personally, I am not a fan of either of those. Come to think of it, I don't ever recall seeing either in any independent top-ten lists or having a trusted source recommend them over what I use.

    For my anti-spyware, I rely primarily on Spybot Search and Destroy with AdAware for backup.
    I let Avira handle my anti-virus needs. Sure, the pop-up on the free version is annoying, but it has the highest detection rate of any AV I've seen (better than Norton or McCaffee) and does a *damn* fine job.

    Both of those are free and both are recommended by some of the computer magazines I've read and knowledgeable computer people I've talked to.

    • Good answer jerv, I would also recommend A squared free, it is very good at detecting Trojans. Superantispyware is a great all rounder as well.(and also has a free version)
