No. If you give your employer a W-4, they should be withholding income taxes according to what you specify on it. If you do not give your employer a W-4, the IRS instructs the employer to withhold taxes as if you are single with no allowances.
So if you are single, with no kids, and don't own a home or have other allowances, then this is most likely not an issue for you. If you are married, or have kids, or have other allowances, then the employer is most likely withholding too much tax and you'd get a large refund when you file your taxes.
Ask your employer at what rate they are withholding taxes for you and determine where to go from there.

You're reading My employer asked for my social security number but did not have me fill out a W-4. But when I got my check, taxes were taken out of my pay. Old employees did receive a W-2. Does this mean that the company is forging signatures on the W-4

I to hav a similar employer. It would be a good idea to consult a tax person with some pay stubs to make sure that they are taking enough.
