As I understand it, if you never heard, you get some kind of chance right after death. If you heard the word and rejected it, you're in trouble. In some religions, only those who've been baptised are ok, in others, only those who've heard and accepted are ok. Mormons do baptismals for the already dead. It depends on your church.

    • The Bible speaks of the 1000 year reign of Christ over the earth. After Armegeddon (when all wickedness will have been destroyed) under christs rulership, there is to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. These latter ones will have an opportunity to learn about God and his purposes. Then they will be judged according to how they respond to this instruction. John 5:28,29. Some believe that these ones will be resurrected just to face a condemnatory judgment. But Rom. 6:7 says:"He who has died has been acquitted from his sin."
