My mother and aunt were sisters. What relationship is my aunt's son's daughter to me and my children?

    To you: Your aunt's son is your cousin. His daughter is your 1st cousin once removed.

    To your children: Your aunt's son is their 1st cousin once removed. His daughter is their 2nd cousin.

    TO me: We just call them all cousins. Much much easier without the 1st's and 2nd's and once twice removed's...etc. It's just family.
