Question

Help answer this question below.

What kind of bird food do you buy, and where? I enjoy feeding the birds, and other wildlife, but the agway where I purchased the bird seed closed. The seed I've been using has more millet than what I used before and I heard that is not good in winter.

I feed sunflower seeds only. If I get a lot of Blackbirds I switch to safflower seed. I also hang suet for the wood peckers.

    • Thanks mrrw. I use suet also, the woodpeckers were huge this year, I had to replace often. I do use some sunflower seeds and will have to check out safflower seed, since I have a lot of blackbirds right now, I've never seen safflower so will have to look around!
