You're reading Has any of Einstein's theories been proven inaccurate or incorrect?
Comments
The reason the term "THEORY" is used nowadays instead of "LAW" is because of a historical tendancy for Laws to be subsumed or absorbed into larger conceptual frameworks. Example: Newton's "Laws" had shortcomings if not mistakes that were superceded by Einstein's relativity "Theory". Do not think that where you see "Law" it is a bedrock of truth. Do not think where you see "Theory" it is a shadowy guess.

Don't listen to that answer is misleading. Theories are the highest level of understanding a complex topic. Yes his theories were all rooted in math but starting in 1919 one after another observation and experimentation have proven him right. Please do a search for more detailes.

"By its very nature, a theory is an unproven idea, ..." ??? I can't believe someone thinks like this. Please look up the definition of "theory" before you expand your ego into this meaningless article. Please, know the differences between a hypothesis and a theory.
