Help answer this question below.

I heard that iPods tend to break in about 2 years. Is this true?

    I have a first generation iPod from 2001 and I still use it. It works great, although the battery doesn't last as long as it used to. I usually carry it in my pocket, no protection. Just my experience. I think it depends upon how you treat the little buggers.
