Well yes, basically. Mourning would only be a problem if you're hanging on to something too long -- i.e. trying to keep the past alive with too much rigidity. Lots of things in life involve going through painful or uncomfortable emotional processes that are normal and healthy. To avoid those processes makes life stop flowing, and causes all sorts of malfunctions.
