What are the advatages and disadvantages of making a column with a wider base?

• No, see he asked for advatages and gave examples of advabtages. =P I wonder how he managed to spell disadvantages correctly though - it is after all a longer word.

  I'm sorry if I'm sounding a bit mean towards this guy, but if there's one thing that bothers me it's someone who asks simply asks for answers that are obviously for homework, and then down rates the people who try to help them because they don't seem to be able to read. *sigh*
