In Indonesia they get a fertilized chook egg just before it is due to hatch. They boil it for some time. Then they put it in a fridge and cool it down again. They sell them on the street like Mars bars.
You peel the shell off and crunch through a parially formed chick, still enveloped in a sac of stuff.
Cannot for the life of me remember what they call it. I think the trauma has blocked it from my mind!

It has to be the cruelest way to eat an animal. I have seen people put the eggs (with the live duckling inside almost ready to hatch in a week or so) into boiling water and the eggs shook in the boiling water as the duckling inside was struggling in unspeakable pain, being cooked alive and could not get out of their shell. Please don't eat that kind of food (if you call it food at all).

Actually, after I have seen hidden videos of slaughterhouses, I know now that the main stream supermarket meat is just as sick, if not sicker!!!!
