Indications: anti-anxiety, sedative, antispasmodic, anti-convulsant.
Contraindications: Endogenous depression as it increases the danger of suicide. Also contraindicated in pregnancy and nursing mothers.

You're reading Does anyone know about Kava kava, it is banned in the UK because apparently it gave some people liver damage, but it was used with alcohol. It has been used by South Pacific Islanders for years so surely it cant be that bad?
