Do you feel that first impressions are mostly accurate or not?

    For the most part, yes. I often find that if I have a negative first impression, but then decide to ignore that gut instinct and get to know this new person, that in time I will find that my first impression was correct. What I've really noticed is if I meet someone and they remind me of someone else, that in time I will find the new person has the same negative and positive qualities as the person they first reminded me of... Is it right thing to write someone off within 10 minutes of meeting them? Probably not...but I can think of a few times that I wish I had done that... :)
