    • The Faroe islands? Coz they are a long long way from Scotland! in Shetland and Orkneys they both speak English! They speak a dialect of English, Scots, that is regarded by some as a seperate language but it certainly isn't a Scandinavian dialect! Even if it does have a few words from Norwegian. If you are thinking of the Nordic language "Norn" then that went extinct long ago.
