There's a guy who claims that he wants to date me, but says that he wants to wait until he has less stress in his life, like getting his finances in order, but if he really wanted to date me, wouldn't he do it now instead of waiting?

If a loser doesn’t want to date you because he has stress in his life I would say he is not worth dating. We all have stress in our life, and what are you going to do if you do start dating him and something in his life stresses him out will he want to take a break. I would just move on and find someone else who can handle the whole dating thing.

Yes, you are exactly right! Finances have nothing to do with it. Sex is a fundamental condition of all life. Life depends on it to exist. So, if he did want to date you then there can be nothing more important to him oher than the persuit of that goal - you! Especially in the early stages. He would have done anything just to be in your company even if he know nothing was to happen. He is simply keeping his options open or rubbing his own ego. Pay him no further attention.
