All I know is that I "got into it" on here one time about Mormonism (I was married to a Mormon once), I think the question was Why does everybody hate Mormons? I replied that I didn't think everyone did, but that some aspects of their religion did cause concern and suspicion. I cited what some of these were - baptismal for the dead, blessing of genitals, polygamy, the fact that the church social services (in some stakes) makes it a practice not to report child abuse, but rather to counsel and pray (I was also a social worker). Anyhow, my comments were magically deleted. If these are agian, I will believe in the Mormon Mafia.
