Questioner claims to be unknowing and “neutral” to several answerers. Please read the Questioner’s comment to my Answer to his rhetorical question –about returning to Iran [currently most DG’d]– and his comment to me and judge his “neutrality” for yourself. I suspect that the Questioner knows well that the Holocaust occurred...but sows doubt, takes satisfaction that it did and looks forward to yet another! Given your knowledge, and to neutralize such "persons" and their dubious intentions, I would appreciate your rating of my answer if you have not already done so. Thank you.

May the Gods bless General Dwight Eisenhower. I have seen the films of the Germans taken to the camps at his order. Some bits of them are permanently etched on my eyelids... I am looking at one of them as I write this. There are a couple of "stills" from those films in my mind that are going to be with me for the rest of my life. Part of what is etched there is the shock of the villagers and I ask... YOU DID NOT KNOW??

The World Almanac for 1947, in quoting figures supplies by the American Jewish Committee states that the world Jewish population in 1939 was 15,688,259. The New York Times of February 22, 1948, stated that the world Jewish population ranged from 15,600,000 to 18,700,000, excluding some 600,000 to 700,000 living in Palestine. How could the Jewish population have increased so rapidly after losing six million during World War II?

When multiple sources say one thing and 1 or 2 sources say another, you might want to look around for more sources. Or you might just realize that not all editors are perfect.
