The only people I know concerned about a United Religion or one-world church taking over are Christians.
I've never heard from any other religion/belief that that's the goal. Most of the rest of us, like UUs, want to provide a spiritual home for people seeking it; not convert the world or change existing churches.

there are Muslim extremists who believe that the world will one day be entirely Muslim, and there are Jewish people who believe that the world will one day be Jewish. it's not the goal of any of the religions, but of a few extremists. world religious domination is definitely not exclusive to Christianity.
