Is the government fighting all the drug cartels equally or do they support the big drug cartels to help kill off the smaller competition?

According to a Harvard study, legalizing all drugs would inject $76.8 billion a year into the U.S. economy. What are your thoughts on that?

It will take generations to bring the numbers of drug dependent citizens down to a more realistic number. But it won't happen any faster by continuing failed policies. We really do need to legalize, regulate, and tax mind altering drugs the same way we tax alcohol and cigarettes.
