My boyfriend has been talking with other women on adult internet sites, is this cheating?

    If he has no intention of meeting up with them then personally I'd have to say no- its on the same level as watching a porn film, or flirting with someone in a bar. But the key word there is "personally"- if its something that makes you excessively uncomfortable then you aren't going to be happy in this relationship if it continues. I suggest you have a chat, find out exactly what he's doing (is he just flirting, which you might be ok with, is it cyber-sex, which you're probably not - and so on..) and explain the elements of it that make you unhappy and why, and if he really wants to continue the relationship, and respects you, you should be able to reach an agreement you can both live with. In a relationship what's important is not what other people outside the relationship tell you constitutes as cheating, but how you two define the boundaries yourselves. What's right for one couple is totally wrong for another- that "other guys do it" , or "everybody says it's cheating" doesn't count for anything. Its how YOU feel that matters.

    • I agree if it doesn't bother I guess it's ok, however that being said I have a child to someone who I recently found on tons of different dating sites and i dont think I can get past it. I'm going to leave-there have been other trust issues to contribute to my decision too.. Did he try to deny this when you confronted him? How did he react?
