i followed the Muslim fast in 1977 to understand and to share as i was living and working in Qatar them sure it is no big deal.i live in indonesia now and have spent over 10 years in muslim countries for my work.and 20 other years in non muslim places i have seen many starving people . face to face .i would not dare ask them how they feel as you can see it in their eyes . they even believe it is god 's will they are the way they are ( thanks for the fat religious folks putting god's fear into them).in the fasting month you make more and richer food as you have daily big parties where you invite all to show off that you can you even give a bit of food to the poor so you are not all bad , there are sure good things in religions but also there is bad one , and not drinking water all day is bad .and should be said . so god ( if he ever existed ) was wrong to as you to do so .
