How come people drink alcohol when it tastes so bad?

    Put all the ego's aside the answer in a medical context is very basic. Drinking alcohol beer, wine etc. You are correct in making the statement it taste so bad. The brain and body does not like the taste of alcohol, therefore it has to be "brainwashed" the EGO, Social Status are the prime motovations for a person to continue to consume alcohol. Even when it taste bad time and time again until finally a person has achieved "Taste actuvation" Another spine to this, is the fact a person's "EGO" could actually kill them. If they have DNA traits for the diease of "Alcoholism" thier Ego has just now unlocked those deadly genes and to thier own demize they will not have the choice to have just a beer any more. Thier body will have to have many beers or more likely use strong alcohol just to get through the day, perhaps thier childrens bithday party etc. 1 in 6 carry "Chemical Dependency Genes"! Educate to create knowelege and use that knowelege to create wisdom! Hope this helps.

    • I agee with most of what you said, except the whole brainwashing part. I actually like the taste of alcohol. I've loved vodka from my very first taste.
