I don't see what's wrong with it... I brush my teeth with hot water, I've yet to do it in the shower but that's just not how my routine goes.
I urinate (not in the shower), shower--> hair first, face, body, rinse, dry, then comes the deodorant, hair gel, comb hair, brush teeth, then shave... in that order everyday.
There are much worse things you could be doing in the shower than brushing your teeth...
How often do you shower and how often do you tell people you shower if they ask?

I agree! There are MUCH worse things you could do. I think the wife is question here needs to rethink on this complaint!
