Hello... Leviticus is Old Testament, these laws were revised. I think God will be OK with a little ink.

Jesus changed the covent not the law in its self What God didn't change remains but this doen't mean you be took out and stoned to death. I have tatoos but there under the blood of Christ. Listen to the spirit of God and see how he directs you.

Leviticus is the old testament and as such, should not be quoted by "true" believers in Christ, because I always heard that the old testament went by the wayside since that was the old ways before Jesus and the new testament was the Bible you should be quoting. Jews believe that quote though since they use the old testament since they don't recognize Christ. Jews take it to the point of not wanting to bury you if you tattoo so if you are Jewish you need to decide how orthodox you and your family are.
I feel if this is going to be considered a sin, it is one I'll live with, as its not too bad, as far as sins go.

So does this mean we should take out the ten commandments. You know the ten commandment, that Christ said you should obey. You know, the ones from the old testament. Christ did not destroy the law he perfected it. Read you whole bible before you make comment about what is sin and what is not. Justifing sin is making yourself responsible for someone's soul."Answer a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him".Proverbs 26 5 The word fool in biblical terms is associated with a sinner and not someone lack intellectual being. The dead is also a term meaning the sinners. Meaning that you get artwork to be seen for social and standing with man.

The tattooing part wasn't in the Ten Commandments, which were for everyone, but the 2 Billion Additional Commandments specifically directed at Jews.

So Shawn...in that same chapter God also says Lev 19:27 "Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of they beard."
This chapter is God telling the Jewish people not to take part in Pagan rituals. God wanted there to be a clear difference because if there were similarities it would be easier for someone to adapt to the pagan belief. Did God not allow the Jewish people to shave because it was a sin? No, it was simply to allow there to be a clear difference between the two.
If you believe that Leviticus tells you with out a doubt that tattooing is sinful then you are also agreeing that cutting your hair is also sinful and paganist.

Doesn't the bible in Corinthians ch10 say that a women hair is covering but a man to have long hair is a shame to God. I believe in everything that wasn't change by the new testament. This also changes the law by saying that a women hair is her covering and has no need of a cloth covering her head. So biblegoth you see the old law was changed by the writing by Paul to the corinthian church. Do you know that the ritual of the Christmas tree is a pagan tradition. Also, the hiding eggs at Easter time is also a pagan tradition.
