How do I bank a cue ball in pocket pool using the dot method?

    "The angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection"

    The above is quite true though note that pace is an important part of the bank shot or "double" as is the term in snooker.

    The harder you hit the cue ball the narrower the angle will be when the cue ball rebounds off the cushion due to increased resistance of the rail
    remember this when playing a bank shot to avoid skimming past the object ball on the near side.
