If you want to save some money but possibly waste some time(as I did), go to your town office yourself and look up the deed for your property. It SHOULD have all available information; rights of way, any easements, surveys etc...You could also pay someone else to do this for you.
Another option is to pay for a complete survey done by a state certified surveyor. They'll do all the necessary paperwork at the town hall, plus come out and mark it all for you. This can get pretty expensive but worth the money for peace of mind.
