weezypops, that's something you can't really prevent - as just about everyone is exposed to aspirin or peanuts. You can prevent death by illegal drugs by staying away from them. Besides, there are actually redeeming qualities in aspirin or peanuts that make them useful. I can't really think of anything useful about cocaine or meth.

Well, neither of them are drugs i would take myself, but many of my friends take cocaine regularly and enjoy it. Perhaps it doesn't cure a headache, but enjoyment is a redeeming quality, as in alcohol, foods that are bad for you etc etc. You may not want to do it yourself, but it's enough for others. They are prepared to take that risk.
