If you want legal backing when you shoot someone, yes. :P haha...
Okay, but really.
If you somehow bring physical harm to someone who trespasses on your property, you'll want to make sure you've posted a "No Trespassing" sign in a plainly visible place.
Or, simply for convenience, you might want to post "Private Property" so you don't have to keep telling people to leave.
But, if you don't care if people are on your property, or if you don't mind telling them to go away whenever you see them- there's no legal obligation to post that the property is private.
