You have either an abscess, or a cavity so deep that the nerve is affected. Neither will get better without medical attention. The abscess requires antibiotics and cleaning, including having the tooth pulled. The cavity probably can;'t be filled if the tooth is too far gone. This will just get worse if you don't seek treatment ASAP.

You're reading My tooth hurts like hell and leaves a bad taste in my mouth... Is this a cavity? How do I controll it and stop the pain, it hurts so much I can't sleep, I actually woke myself up by the pain, please, please help.
