This is my theory: If a fetus cannot live outside the birth mother then its life has not yet begun. The second a baby can live on its own, its life begins.

    • so you're saying that life doesnt begin while the fetus is in the mother.

    • Not exactly, a fetus is obviously alive but needs a host body to sustain it. This should bring on the down rates, but rather like a parasite.

    • is a born baby classed as a 'parasite'? - it still relies on other human life for survival
