On my windows XP, my task manager wont show up when I press CTRL+ALT+DEL, when I right click the taskbar and click "open taskbar", or when I open it from the help menu. What should I do?

    If you are comfortable with regedit (Start -> Run type regedit)

    Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
    Key: SoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem
    Name: DisableTaskMgr
    Type: REG_DWORD
    Value: 1=Enablethis key, that is DISABLE TaskManager
    Value: 0=Disablethis key, that is Don't Disable, Enable TaskManager
