Question

Help answer this question below.

People always say they don't care when something bad about them is being said, but nobody complains when something good is being said; if they really didn't care, wouldn't they not care about any of the positive things just as much as the bad?

    • Basically they're just saying how much they DO care.

    • Sometimes it seems that by emphatically saying they don't care, they're really trying to convince *themselves* of how independent or free-thinking they are!
