I think what attracts some people to particular books and not others is relevance. If i read a book about a topic that intrests me, or strikes a chord with my hopes and dreams, or if I see that a certain character is like myself in some way, I am going to be attracted in that book. And of course all people are different, so different people are going to find relevance in different books.
Are you toutable? Can other folks change your mind for you if they are convincing enough? Do you believe others easily? Why?
