A Republic IS a democracy. A democracy is where you vote for the guy in charge, like America or Britian.
A Republic is a country led by an elected president.
Britian is a constituntional monarchy, where the king/queen is the figurehead but the country is run by a Prime Minister.
Why can't we have a government that really cares what the British people want?
