Any Pentecostal believers? I want to go to a United Pentecostal church. I was born into one but my family switched church . I want to go back but, I have cut my hair and got a tattoo on my wrist (I feel shame). Can I be forgiven? Or will I be rejected?

I am sure you already know by now, but it really doesn't matter what you look like when you enter a church... sure, sometimes it would be better if we all looked the same, but not every one has the same idea of what to wear.

Forgiveness is between you and God. I am sure if you are sincere in asking forgiveness, then he will forgive you. He said he would. What anyone else has to say about it is moot.

    • Thanks, I have asked God to forgive me and thats all that matters. Your very right. How can they pick the speck out of my eye if they have it in their own.I messed up but God has forgiven me so I am good now. I always got taught that God wasnt a respector of persons. So my sin is no worst than others.I am so Thanksful that I am forgiven!! Thanks for your comment it was helpful.

    • I know a lot of Christians. They do give a lot of advice on forgiveness... Some of it is contradictory, but for the most part they all agree on what it is to be forgiven, and who it is that forgives.

Hope you enjoy your journey with Christ.

    • no. I am not a Christian at all. However, I do believe that if I were to change my mind, I would become an Apostolic Christian.

Honey, I just want you to know that what you are feeling is guilt. As my best friend would say, "You need to lay that down at Jesus' feet. Let Him carry that burden for you. You have nothing to feel guilty about if you have been forgiven. God has taken all of your past, and He has forgotten it. Remember where you were, but forget that guilt."

    • Thats very sweet of you! Thank you so much! I like how you said that...and I quote... "Remember where you were, but forget that guilt." I like that! Thanks! I hope you become a christian one day, because you would make a great one! If your like this now and not even a christian I can't imagin how great you will be when you become a christian ! Great advice!
