OK, hold on. Considering all things you can only go about 500 miles a day practically and safely. So, figure 6 days. However, if you don't have to rush, take time to see some of the country and attractions along the way. I hate flying; I love driving trips because I can see things, do things, visit with people, ... In 1957 my parents and I moved to Canada for a couple years; we traveled by car from south Texas to central B.C., Canada in a '52 Plymouth, camping most of the way - it was one of the most memorable experiencs of my life.
