How does Michael Jackson spin around fast when dancing?

    First of all his dance is not influenced by ballet pirouette. He was heavily influenced by James Brown and Jackie Wilson.

    Now, depending on which is your dominant foot, that should be the leg that starts the rotation. And no it has nothing to do with ballet. I could'nt put it into words because there a fair bit to explain so here is a clip I found. I hope this helps.
