Lipton Tea is a brand name of the Multi-national Anglo-Dutch Co. Unilever, in the news lately for dumping toxic wastes into irrigation and drinking water canals in India. So do not use Indian grown tea or at least don't brew it with Indian water. But that is neither here nor there, well it is in India so it is there, unless you too are in India, then it is here. But that's not coffee, the Anglos, or English ,not Anglish, of course have tea breaks, even if they drink coffee, the Dutch used to have dike breaks, especially when they were invaded. Nowadays, though, they make do with chocolate or beer breaks from trying to control the world supply of diamonds. But that's not coffee either. Though I did learn that "Private Reserve DIAMOND™ 100% Pure Estate Kona Coffee ... is the absolute ultimate luxury coffee. ..." and that Lion Coffee Diamond Head Espresso costs $8.99 for 10 ounces. But that's not Lipton. I did find this in the Unilever safety regulations...
"...staff collecting drinks from the coffee bar are encouraged to carry no more than four cups and only then in a specially designed tray..." Apparently then, some staff, while maybe not allowed to have coffee breaks per se, are allowed to have coffee bars, the staff in Dutch facilities apparently have chocolate bars.
But even so we once again see an example of the Multi-national corporations controlling the lives of the downtrodden worker, any company which restricts its workers to only four cups of coffee at a time is nothing but a capitalistic pig! And no doubt the staffers have to purchase this "specially designed tray" from another subsidiary of Unilever. Further evidence of the threat posed by Multi-nationals is this, taken directly from the Lipton web site.."Making a big splash in the global beverages market...Lipton is painting the world yellow." I dunno what a global beverage is, somethin with a full bodied round flavor I'd guess. But as for that paintin the world yellow, probably using some Unilever produced paint, does the UN know about this? It seems like a big project but they have made some progress, most of the fire-hydrants and all of the school buses in my area have fallen victim to their nefarious plot. And you were just worried about their employees getting coffee breaks! There is more at stake here! WAKE UP AMERICA!!!.... Oh, sorry, too much coffee this mornin'.
This is disturbing though.. a Unilever product called Omo claims to give "kids the freedom to get dirty, safe in the knowledge that Omo will remove those awkward stains. " Unilever now undermines the rights of parents! Yes, no longer will parents be able to tell by the clear evidence of 'awkward stains' that the kids have been up to somethin' dirty again. I got one thing to say to the board of directors, " Hey, fat cats, I got your Unilever right here!" Uh oh, I apologize again. Hmmm... maybe there is something to that four cups regulation after all. But you can tell George Carlin that Lipton employees apparently get coffee breaks.
