My mom is a nurse and swears that it does. She say that, on those nights families are more uncooperative, patients are easily agitated, there are more emergencies, and the patients that are usually a little unstable go completely nuts. She says that she can tell that the moon is full without looking outside just by how the night is going.

    • Could it be that the full moon myth is what screws with the patients head? Could it be that they are subliminally tricking themselfs into believing that the full moon has effect over them? People can do that kind of stuff to themselfs. Doctors have even given people water telling them that it is medicine and they feel better. Why is this? Because the people are tricking themselfs into believing that they are better. It could be the same thing with full moons.

    • I've thought of that myself. it very well could be. But,consider these questions:
Is every patient aware it is a full moon?
How many of them actually believe in the full moon theory?
Why are there more medical emergences on those nights?
