Where could a capable 17 year old get a summer job that is NOT at a large company?

Local grocery stores are good. So are restraunts, fast food places, and such. You can also find farms that will employ people to pick stuff or help sell their produce. Most of the time they pay under the table so you don't even have to pay taxes!
