Is it okay to re-gift something I received but don't like/have any use for?

    I would only add that you might want to regift it to another 'faction' of your family to save hurt feelings. if your mom gave it to you, give it to your sister in law (your husband's sister that is) , or take it to an office party. that way your mom doesn't walk in to your brother's house and say oh that's nice i gave one like it to your sister and . . . you get it. . .
