    No, two wrongs don't make a right, they just make two wrongs.

    I'll probably be downrated for saying this, but I think we need to make the distinction here between someone who simply bears an attraction to children but does not act on it and someone who acts on their attraction to children or takes out their sexual frustration on them.
    I don't necessarily wish pedophiles any ill will just for being pedophiles, as I imagine that their attraction is probably something rooted deeply in their childhood or adolescence that they cannot help. I mean, when my cat pees on the couch it upsets and even though I can't help but feel that I want to hurt her, I don't act on my feeling. Does that make me an animal abuser? (Sorry for the bad analogy, you're welcome to come up with a better one)
    I do however think that *child molesters* and *child rapists* deserve severe punishments to the greatest extent that the law will allow.
