Nope. I couldn't do it. Who am I to say, that out of all of the suffering, they wouldn't still be happy to be alive? Most children I see with retardation are still happy kids. They know no different life.

I have a cousin who was born with hydrocephalus. That is commonly referred to as "water on the brain." He has never spoken a real word, is in a wheelchair, and has been on a feeding tube his entire life. He is still a joy. He has no idea that he is disabled. And also, his parents were told he would be dead by the age of 5. He is 32.
