Can a girl beat up a guy?

    I go to a Thai boxing class where some of the girls are fighting on the amateur circuit. I didn't know this when i first went, so I was sparring with one and was being soft on her, because she's a girl. Trying to be chivalrous and all that. Anyway, the first good punch I threw, she counterpunched/ kicked/ kneed, not quite sure what she hit me with, I felt like I was surrounded by a team of heavyweight boxers. I treated her with a bit more respect after that, and just fought her like i was fighting a guy.

    She still beat the shit out of me, every time.
