When my husband or I tries to discipline our kids, our dog tries to physically get in between us and the kids. How should we deal with this?

    Put the dog in another room when you have to discipline your children. The dog is obviously being protective and you don't want to undermine this.

    I hope that when you say 'discipline', it is nothing more than being assertive and not any form of physical aggression.
