Help answer this question below.

In the heat of the summer, should I clip my standard poodle skin-close...or let her be fluffy all over, having her coat as insulation?

    I'm sure she'd be fine with a short coat in the summer, unless she is in the sun a lot. The sun can harm a dog's skin, too, especially if she is a light colored dog. Maybe short, but not too short?
