Question

Help answer this question below.

When I attended my grandfather's funeral, I wanted to cry but couldn't. I bottled it up. And now I've found that I can't cry at all. Is this normal?

It may be a delayed stress response. This would be something you need to seek help for. It means that your reaction to your stress is delayed, basically. Someone who goes through this may seem/feel fine, but eventually they will find out otherwise. However, it may just be that your feeling the loss of a grandfather, which is normal, and everyone handles it in their own way. My, personal, advice is to wait it out for may be a week, providing your not 100% positive it's a delayed stress response or suicidle. If it does not go away, it won't hurt to talk to someone about how you feel and then go from there. However, that is my personal opinion and not one that should be taken all too seriously.
