take the batttery out, unplug it from the wall and leave it for a few minutes.
if that doesnt work you need to either get Dell on the case of take it to a technician, theres not a lot you can do yourself can do without a pile of spare parts and a skrewdriver to test in it to find whats wrong.

My power supply stopped working after I tried to scan with my new color laser printer on. Both heavy power users. I checked and am sure the PSU is bad. I installed a new PSU and everything powers up but I can't get a picture. Tried resetting the BIOS.

I plugged my computer into a station that was running 230v power. It will no longer turn on of course. I would like to know what will need to be replaced to repair it. I was thinking it would be the whole power supply, am I correct?

You're reading I have an Inspiron 600m, used it the other night, shut it down in the usual manner, the next morning, the computer would not turn on, there is no lights indicating the battery or the ac plugged into the wall. Any idea whats wrong?
