You're reading My neice in California has cancer. She's 5'6", 85lbs, in constant pain and no meds help. She is dying and miserable. She is begging her doctor to help her die. What can I do for her?
Comments
It's definately the pain. The doctors have put her on so many immune boosters in order to fight the cancer, and so many pain meds that nothing works on her anymore. They've stop all treatment, and are just waiting for her to die at this point. Meanwhile, the pain has gotten so severe that she can neither eat nor sleep. She can't even get comfortable. She just wants the pain to stop. It's watching someone you love being torchered 24/7, and I feel helpless to rescue her.
